The CGN infrastructure has the ability to collect tumor specimens and/or DNA from enrollees, including individuals who have rapidly fatal tumors. Possible specimens include:

• buccal cells for DNA/RNA,
• DNA for genome scans,
• RNA for microarrays, and
• serum for proteomics.

The CGN also has the capacity for analysis and short/long-term storage of samples.
